Registration and abstract submission
Important dates

Please note that on-site registration will not be possible as we need to anticipate room and catering needs.
Fees
- Regular registration: 500 CHF
- PhD/MSc students and postdocs: 300 CHF
- Conference dinner: 100 CHF
The registration fee includes coffee breaks, lunches (Thursday-Saturday) and the evening reception (Wednesday).
The conference dinner will be held in the restaurant “Dozentenfoyer” on the 5th floor of the ETH main building offering great views over the city of Zurich.
Excursions on Sunday will be charged separately or covered by the participants directly.
Abstract submission
Abstract submission is available during the registration process. Participants will be notified about the acceptance of their abstracts for a talk by 30th of April 2024. Participants are given the option to present a poster if they are not selected for a talk.
Submitting a second abstract? Please register first using the link above. After registration, you can email us your second abstract at contact@isclb2024.com. Please indicate whether the second abstract should be considered for a talk. Please provide title, authors, affiliations and the abstract body.
Payment options
After successful registration, you will be emailed a link to the ETH Zurich payment portal. Payment can be made by credit card. A receipt will be available.

Steps to register:
- Fill out the registration form linked above providing
- personal information and affiliation
- abstract title (150 char. max.), authors and body (1500 char. max.)
- After submitting the form, the link to the ETH Zurich payment portal will be displayed
- Pay the registration fee on the ETH portal and receive a receipt
Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be made in writing to contact@isclb2024.com. Cancellations received before 30th of April 2024 will be refunded minus a 10 CHF processing fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after 30th of April 2024.

I can’t find the payment link anymore

I have paid but did not yet receive a confirmation
Please allow a few days for the payment to be processed. If you have not received a confirmation email with your receipt after 10 days, please contact Petra Bratfisch. -
Are there subsidies available for registration costs? We are unfortunately unable to subsidize registration fees. However, we encourage you to apply for travel grants from your home institution or other funding sources.

Yes, you can register now and submit an abstract later. Please use the registration form linked above and indicate that you will submit an abstract later. After registration, you can email us your abstract with all required information. -
Can someone replace me presenting an abstract selected for a talk?
Yes, email us as soon as possible who will replace you. Please note that the other person cannot present two talks. -
Do I need a visa to travel to Switzerland?
Please check the visa requirements for your country. If you need an invitation letter for your visa application, please contact us. -
When will I hear if my abstract has been accepted for an oral contribution?
Participants will be notified about the acceptance of their abstracts for a talk by 30th of April 2024. -
What is the format for posters?
Posters should be printed on A0 portrait.
